The HDMI to Composite Video / S-Video Converter is a compact device which allows you to use modern digital AV equipment with legacy analogue displays.
This easy to use plug and play device supports standard HD resolutions and audio and converts the signal to either Composite Video or S-Video with stereo audio. Two simple slide switches enable the user to quickly choose between PAL & NTSC inputs and Composite Video or S-Video outputs.
Note regarding HDCP protection…
This converter does not support analogue video output from a DVD/Blu-ray player or PC graphics card when they are playing back an HDCP protected movie.
HDMI HDTV signals from Blu-ray and DVD movies are HDCP copy protected. The HDMI standard does not allow analogue conversion of HDCP protected HDTV video content. For HDCP protected HDMI signals no output on the analogue video or audio connectors will be generated.
