As one of the first APS-C sensors in the EOS R system, the R7's high-resolution design benefits 4K photographers and videos by providing a 7K area for oversampling of footage, which produces improved clarity and quality.

Meet all your needs with lightweight optics with the Canon RF-S 18-150mm f / 4.5-6.3 IS STM lens. Designed to be a complete lens for Canon APS-C R series mirrorless cameras, it will offer an equivalent zoom range of 29-240mm covering perspectives from wide angle to telephoto. The 18-150mm uses one UD element along with two aspherical elements to create aberration-free images. A Super Spectra coating further helps by minimizing ghosting and flare.

Users will be able to use a customizable control ring for manual focus or a programmable setting. Autofocus is smooth and quiet - great for stills and videos - thanks to a lead screw STM stepper AF motor. Additionally, the lens features an Optical Image Stabilizer that will compensate for up to 4.5 stops of camera shake or up to 6.5 stops with coordinated IS when paired with a compatible camera.
