Canon has introduced two new professional camcorders: XA35
XA30
Dedicated to professionals and enthusiasts, are particularly compact, lightweight and equipped with an HD CMOS Pro sensor newly developed, characterized by a greater sensitivity and better performance in low light. Both camcorders also include new settings, Wide Dynamic Range (DR) and Priority to the lights to make them suitable for all types of shooting, from news reports to documentaries, from weddings to corporate films.
The wide angle 20x zoom lens offers focal hike of 26.8 to 576 mm (equivalent in the 35mm format) and employs a Canon optical image stabilization system 5-axis Dynamic IS. The lens also features a circular aperture 8 blade to provide a better quality of the blur (bokeh)
Both models can be slow and fast motion mode, also support a variety of shooting scenarios with interval recording options up to a maximum of 1200 times the normal rate.
XA35 XA30 and have the same ergonomic design of the models that preceded them, XA25 and XA20. The removable handle with professional audio XLR terminal offers maximum flexibility and is easy to install or remove it according to different shooting situations.
XA35 features an HD / SD-SDI output terminal that easily integrates with existing equipment for the transfer or transmission of movies and incorporates audio and time-code signals. XA35 also provides the ability to export uncompressed video in real time high resolution digital, is the perfect compact camera for live TV and news editors, constituting a valuable complement to other broadcast cameras filming on set.
The cameras support the AVCHD file formats (up to 28 Mbps) and MP4 (up to 35 Mbps) and are equipped with dual SD card slot, offering a choice of instant back-up through the simultaneous recording or relay recording during longer events.
