Post Production for Filmmakers with Giandomenico Zeppa
Are you a filmmaker and want to package your video content professionally? Do you want to give an effective touch in post production to your short film or your video clip? Through this course you will learn how to quickly work the material shot with your own video camera to achieve a professional final result.
In the first part of the workshop we will focus on some theoretical points that will help us understand what the potential of the shot is. Next we will illustrate the methods to make the workflow smart, lean, simple and fast. In the second part, however, we will analyze more specifically the main editing, conforming and color correction techniques applicable to any editing platform (DaVinci, Premiere, After Effects and others)
The teacher is Giandomenico Zeppa senior colorist and workflow specialist at the Cineteca di Bologna: for 15 years he has been dealing with the correction of historical films and new feature films. He is Certified Trainer for Color Grading with DaVinci Resolve 17
In his Portfolio he has restored hundreds of films from all over the world; Italian classics directed by Fellini, Bertolucci, Visconti, Antonioni and all Sergio Leone's filmography. He is active in France where he color corrected Hiroshima Mon Amour by Alain Resnais and Breathless by Jean-Luc Godard. He recently worked on the HDR remastering of Serpico and Cinema Paradiso
